Inventory
Every piece has its own code
Quantities, condition, spot on the rack and location. An item in maintenance leaves the available pool automatically, so nobody can rent it out by mistake.
Fields that belong to the category
Length and DIN for skis, frame and wheel for bikes, litres for SUPs, engine and plate for ATVs. You define your own fields without waiting for an update.
Import from Excel
Upload the file you already keep and map the columns. The first day is not spent typing.
The counter
Barcode and QR on every tag
A Code 128 barcode for the desk scanner and a QR for a phone camera, printed on the same tag, with the code in plain text underneath for when the label has had a hard season.
Bookings with real availability
Availability is worked out from overlapping bookings, not from a counter somebody forgot to update. Two tills cannot rent the same item.
Deposits, discounts and damage
The deposit adds up from the items. A damage charge goes in at the return and the piece heads to the workshop if it needs to.
The business
Customers with history
Contact details, sizes and preferences from last time. A customer from last season does not get measured again.
Lessons and instructors
Private or group, with a time, a meeting point and equipment reserved from the same inventory.
More than one location
Separate stock and till per site, one combined view for you. Staff can be pinned to a single location.
Control
Roles that mean something
Owner, admin, manager, staff, cashier, scanner. The limits are enforced in the database, not only on the buttons.
An audit trail
Who created a booking, who charged for damage, who switched a user off. Append only, with no way to erase it from the app.
